Welcome to Oakland Heights Missionary Baptist Church!
We’re so glad you’re considering joining us for a worship service. Whether you’re new to church or just new to our community, we want you to feel right at home. Here’s what you can expect when you visit us.
1. A Warm Welcome
When you walk through the doors, you’ll be greeted by friendly faces who are excited to meet you. Our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, so don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
2. Service Times & Locations
We meet on Sundays at 9:45 am for Sunday School and 10:45 am for Worship Service. Our evening services begin with BTC at 4:00 pm and Worship at 4:45 pm.
3. Worship
Our worship service is a time for us to connect with God through music, prayer, and the teaching of the Word. You’ll have the opportunity to sing hymns with the congregation and enjoy special music.
4. Sermon
The sermon is a key part of our service, where our pastor shares a message from the King James Bible. We believe sound Bible preaching is key to walking with Christ.
5. Kids’ Ministry
If you have children, we offer Children's Church for ages 2- kindergarten. We also have a nursery available.
6. What to Wear
There’s no formal dress code, but we do ask that you dress modestly.
7. Giving
If you choose to give, we offer both online and in-person options.
8. Special Services & Events
Throughout the year, we host special events, community outreach projects, and holiday services. Be sure to check out our events page to stay informed on what's coming up.
